Celebrate the River District (Pontiac Trail and Broadway area) and say good-bye to summer!
- Bring a dish to pass, your own drinks, and please also bring a washable plate/cup/utensils (this is a Zero Waste Event).
- We'll have birthday cake for Eunice Burns, who was instrumental in founding Beckley Park--she just turned 90, wow!
Beckley Park is at Argo and Chandler.
Rain date Sunday Sept. 15th.
Neighbors who have stepped forward to play music this year thus far:
- Like last year, Eric Arnold and his friends will play renaissance and baroque music
- New this year will be Suzanne Camino and her daughter Elena who will play traditional Irish music.
- Also new this year will be Joe Lucas on bass, Rich Dishman on drums, and whomever else wants to join in with them. Any musicians out there available?
